Title: Caranx ignobilis in pencil
Post by: Angus Hulme on April 21, 2010, 12:26:57 PM
Hi people,

Thought you may be interested in seeing my latest pencil illustration: the mighty GT. The finished size is 55 x 35cm, and while the original was a commissioned artwork, I've got prints available. As per usual, PM me if you want one.

Let me know what you reckon about it anyway.

Cheers
Angus

Looks crap ANgus, I think you should send it to me for proper disposal mate.....  ;D

Beautiful work man, truly magic.... I love pencil sketch art, been a huge fan since I was a kid, and to see such a beautiful rendition of my favourite creature is truly magic....

Your talents run deep mate, very well done!

Thanks fellas.....it was 20-odd hours of my life which I would probably have preferred to be spending fishing for GT's, but hell, if I can't fish for 'em all the time, then I might as well draw them. :)

Cheers
Angus

Thanks Stu. I can't say I've ever thought of my work being the subject of some body ink! :D But there's a first time for everything.  8)

I have a couple of other examples of my work at: http://www.printrooms.com.au/angushulme/samples/portfolio.html (http://www.printrooms.com.au/angushulme/samples/portfolio.html)

PM me if you have any further thoughts mate

Truly lovely work Angus.
Attention to detail is spectacular!
Any more realistic and it would start grunting!
