Yeah WA without doubt, I have my usual 3 trips booked for December 07, taking 7 mates each time. It really is insane, catch pretty much as many as you can (weather permitting of course), the best day for us would have been about 96 odd I think, in the end you really have to be mad to keep dropping jigs down. Average size is about 1m to 1.5m with the bigguns going over that, a 1.5m will normally crack the 50kg mark and worthy of a sit down and rest. A slow day would be maybe 40-50 sambos and we fish in about 100m give or take a couple.
There are a few charters around that take guys out, but the best and the fella who started it all is Al Bevan from Shikari Charters... catch care is second to none, and knowledge of the area etc is second to none.

Glad to see the bream guys Sewelly and Mad Phil swapping the flick sticks for the heavy guns!

Richard , were can i get info on Shikari charters .
I googled them but couldn't find a website.
Will be going to Monte Bello on a mothership trip in Aug and wouldn't mind going for Sambos in Dec next year.
