Title: The PE scale for braid
Post by: Brandon Khoo on August 29, 2007, 08:40:21 AM
I was wondering whether anyone had the technical details of the PE scale. I know that this scale is based around the diameter of the line and not the breaking strain but does anyone know what the technical specifications of the scale are?

I know that PE6 is roughly around 0.37mm, PE8 around .47mm and PE10 around .53mm

This would help in line capacity for reels with mono specs. ;D
