Myself and Karl have been taking advantage of the good weather over the past few days, heading out early to catch the tide and coming in before the afternoon southwesterly comes in. Unfortunately there was heaps if missed hookups and pulled hooks from big fish and we saw plenty over 30kg. We had a double hookup on the first day but unfortunately Karl pulled the hooks on what looked like a solid fish which happened to break his gillies stickbait. By catch included coral trout, flowery cod, malabar cod and small spanish mackerel.

Nice work Jay, as usual... good to see you back in action mate, was wondering about you the other day as you've been quiet for a while... good to see you are up to your usual tricks of smashing good fish with good gear!

G'day Andre, poor weather, work and bad tides has kept me from popping for a while but I try to make the most of it when I can :)

Hi Honsu, long time no see, yes that's a Fisherman GT Game TRSH... my favourite GT rod at the moment.

Great stuff over there Jay, looks like an excellent variety of species too. Were you fishing the Exmouth area?

Hi Angus, nah this wasn't Exmouth, it was the Dampier Archipelago.
