Title: Are Langkawi and Southern Thailand good areas?

Are there any GT's or sportfish available easily from these areas?  Looks like I'm there in feb on a holiday with my girlfriend, literally the day after I get back from Fiji I go there. Would it be rude to take a few rods and lures along?

Hi David ,

The Thais go elsewhere for GT fishing , not sure about the Malaysians though . After Fiji , these places would less interesting , fishing wise but entertainments onshore would probably better .
