Title: Tweed Jigging Video
Post by: Duncan O'Connell on January 08, 2011, 05:12:54 PM
Hey Guys,

I put together some footage from the jigging trip we did back in september out of the tweed with Roderick on RU4Reel and put it up on our youtube channel so you can check it out. ( Beware Volume   :o)

Kingfish Jigging on RU4Reel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXG3SuP7aZQ#)

Also there is a few videos demonstrating some knots and leader rigging on there as well.

Some nice action there and thanks for posting.

What do you guys have against using a belt?  The bruises must be terrible!

Roderick-  Was a great day out that is for sure. I cant speak for the other boys but I am definately keen to get out there again soon. I'm pretty sure they wont say no  ;D

Mark- There was not actually a gimbal small enough on the boat to fit my skinny frame haha. I definately had a few bruises

Good work on the video Brett, was a great day out.  Looking forward to doing again Roderick, good to see you have a bit of jigging motivational music to go along with it.  Wouldn't have been the same with country or R&B in the background.  Next time we go there will be three or four GoPro's so should get heaps of good footage for you to edit :)

Cool Editing Brett - glad you gave the sound warning!  Cranked it up the second viewing though   ;)  Looks like you guys had lots of fun.  Maybe I should make a competition category called most youtube appearances in 2011.....

No worries mate I have been doing a bit more exploring to try and find a few more out of the way spots for the winter season and have found a few new ones that even produced kings in 3 knots of current so am looking forward to when it slows down

regards
