Title: Shimano Cocoon Butterfly Jig Wraps
Post by: Jarrad Heritage on February 05, 2011, 04:43:57 AM
Does anyone know a shop in Australia or at least SE Asia that stocks Shimano Cocoon Butterfly Jig Wraps.

Their a $20 item and the only place I can find them is in the US and they are wanting $50+ for postage.

Other option is to make some home made ones from wetsuit material Stubby holders.

Cheers Jarrad

Looks like a complex solution for non-problems, whats so hard about taking the jig off and putting the rod in the rack with just the hook attached?

Jamie, they are mainly used in transit, mainly moving over short distances.

And if you're doing a short transit, just leave the jig in  the rod holder the rod is in. Like I said, complex solution for a non-problem.

I do a lot of zipping between sites when jigging and always put the rod in a holder and stuff the jig into the same holder down beside the rod.  Always seems to fit very snugly and securely. Nothing worse than a swinging jig on a boat.

Fishing is full of those.

Now I may think removing my jig off my hook is a complex problem, each to there own.

All I wanted to know was if anybody knew of a shop that sold them!
