Hi All
I don't have a report from the area yet, but I hope to in a few weeks.
I'm heading to this area in Far North Queensland for 7 days and will be hoping to spend a few sessions chasing some larger varieties of GT.
Is anyone familiar with this area and the many headlands and reefs?
I will have quite alot of scope to move around, so travelling further in serach of them won't be a problem. I am hoping to glean as much information from the forum as to techniques for the area and specific spots to target.
Cheers, Rhet.

If you plan to drive there I can find out if the road is open , there has been a lot of rain up here , I am in Cooktown , at the moment there are a lot of GTs around , there is plenty of bait out at the reef . These are some of the fish we got on sunday , I fish light gear for them , the reel is a Saragosa 4000 with 40 lb braid .
