Just wondering what everyone uses to keep their spare spools in? After a nice case that can fit a few spools in the Shimano 8000-20000 range.

Good Question - I 2nd this question.

i have the shimano spool case, they come in 3 sizes i think.
mine fit sw1000 and sw18000 spools.

I have been using dawia spool case in large size (first photo)
got them from fish head . it would cost about 30buck
which it hold two spool
Shimano SW18k, SW20k, FA SW16k(japan), yumeya 16k, FA20k, dawia dog fight 6500 and GT 6000
there is shimano spool case but i haven,t try them yet . might be the medium size ?
but i might check them out for my twinpower 8k and som 16k and stella SW10K
they all come in 3 size S,M,L

I have the Shimano one, it serves well. But I did see an identical Bass Pro case, of course with different logos

JDM says the Large Shimano one suits 10000-16000 size spools, anyone tried it with 18000 - 20000 size?

I use neoprene beer bottle insulator for my medium sized spools , not sure 20000FA spool will fit though but any smaller spool will fit just nice . Once in the fishing location , the insulator will go back to it's intended duty , keeping the Bintangs from going warm too fast .

I'm with Jon, they do the job nicely and being stretch Neoprene will handle FA Spools.
