Hey guys,
I'm after a stickbait rod to match a 10000sw Stella. I already have a heavy stickbait rod I use for lures over 200g, but want a lighter outfit to fish lures in the 100-180g range. I've considered the RF Ultimo 79mh and the carpenter 7'11 Tbl 35rf. Any other suggestions or feedback on the mentioned rods much appreciated.
Cheers chris

G'day Chris
If the budget allows the 2 rods you mentioned are at the top of the list.
I use the ultimo 79mh for the lure size you mentioned. And have used a mates TBL 7'11 and stella 10000.
You can't go wrong with either. It maybe easier to get the Ripple, depending on where your based.
Check with Fishhead, in Brisbane.
Regards Tony

Chris, for those lure weights the Coral Viper 79/40 also does a great job, with the added advantage of being versatile enough to work poppers in the 100 - 140g range as well! It's also nice and light in the hand and a great match to a 10,000sw.

BC83/40R Power Max is a very good stickbait rod but I agree with Peter , CV79/40RF SHP would be my choise for it's versatility .

I'm in the market for a similar set up! Coral Vipers don't seam to be in stock anywhere.....are there any plans to build/release/distribute more?
-
Coral Vipers will definitely be back! It's a very popular model and it is just when they appear rather than if they appear.

Has anyone checked Yamaga Blue Reef models?
