anyone know which glues out of Top Shot DacTac, Aquaseal or Pliobond are the best for knots like FG's and biminis. Are they braid and mono compatable? Where can I get them?
Thanks
Sam

Pliobond has worked for me for 20 years, easy to use and you can roll a rubbery coating over the knot, but there is always a problem of supply, although a tube lasts me 2-3 years. No problem so far with Aquaseal either. ;D
I tried 'Magic Contact Adhesive' on a test Midknot for a few months with no affect to the braid or leader. :)

In my opinion, Pliobond and Aquaseal should not be relied upon as a glue but more of a coating. We use this plenty in flyfishing as a coating on fly line loops etc.

There are glues from Loctite which work well but i've been happy using one from the supermarket i tested myself. I think it was Selley's Quick Dry Super Glue - apply sparingly.

right-o, so garden variety superglue is ok - just thought it may be a bit harsh and brittle.

Test some samples mate - i had to go through a few to find one i was happy with that didn't have an effect on the line.
