Title: Whats On Your Wish List
Post by: Chris Webster on June 28, 2011, 12:47:47 PM
Hi Guys,

Just wondering what is on everyones wish list for the next 12 months?
What do you want to buy, where do you want to fish it and what do you want to catch?

I'll start off with:

-  Fisherman TRSH, 18000SW, Coral Sea for big GT's; and
-  JM Amberjack Sniper with JM PE8 Reel for Doggies and Sambo's in WA early 2012.

Interested in everyones goals.

Cheers,

Chris

Tackle wise no big ambitions in the next 12 mths, som no limits spool for the 8k Stella is the only thing planned at this point. It's those spur of the moment purchases that catch me out, like the 8k Stella last week.

Fish wise I'm keen to break the metre mark on an Lbg spun king, only got a little over half way this season. I'm hoping to get back Ono island next year and a more concerted effort on the gt's and doggies, but a trip to Spain could change that, will have to check my options there. I am keen to nail a yellowfin on spin as well, it looks like a good season for it.

To hide away enough cash to get over to New Cal next Easter and catch me some, to borrow the term, "Monster Class" GT's!

I just want some time to go fishing, that is all....Could always have more gear, but time to use it is just a massive problem for me....we have perfect weather here in Sydney at the moment after a few foul weeks, there is a hot bite of YFT offshore and I can't get out of the damn office, was even here on Satirday!!

I  agree with  ralph.. as someone new to  popping and stickbaiting and being inflicted as a "collector" . I  NEED to  find those carpenter lures.. Once i  get  to  20  posts I  can at least  cruise the classifieds. Now all I can do is blackmail some of my friends.  And to  go  with  those lures 2 months off to  do  nothing but fish anywhere I  want!!

My main goal at the moment is to land a 30kg+ gt on the deck of the new boat, after that I want to raise the elusive 40-50kg gt's in shoalwater (at the moment they are just a myth). Perhaps I can get both goals in 1 fish?!
