80lb or 130lb

I was using the 200lb Shogun, it seemed fine, now I use the 200lb Jigging Master Terminator
Both on either PE 8 or PE 10 braid. I have some heavier leader, I think it is 260lb but it might be 270, but don't really feel the need to use it so stick with the thinner 200lb.

Varivas 130lbs nylon with Avani GT PE8. Easier casting for me. :)
-
Varivas 170lb leader to Varivas GT PE10 & Black Magic 130lb supple trace for twisted leaders to Varivas GT PE8.Never seem to get any problems with either setups.
-
200lb Shogun (with 300lb in reserve). What knot are you guys using at the join?
-
170 lb YGK Galis to PE8 Varivas GT via FG knot.
-
180lb Jigging master leader to Varivas GT SMP PE 8 via PR knot
-
got a spool of varivas 140lb shock leader very cheap of a mate who over ordered for his last time, you think this is still to light? i will be useing the PR knot, or you think i should learn the twisted leader an use to bimini to join??? or just get heavier leader an stick with the pr???

heavier and stick with the PR... or better still, learn the FG.
