hey guys just passing through cairns on my way to the tip and was wondering what fishing stores you would recommend to go to for popping tackle. i need to stock up on a few hooks and maybe a few extra lures.

MAte there is a BCF in the maiin drag as well as Erskins or another tackle world store on Aumuller st. The other good option(probably the best is Bransfords at clifton beach.

Definitely Bransfords. More like a museum than a tackle store - a lot of knowledge in that place and a bargain or two - I got a loomis flyrod at a ridiculous price.
