Please clarify what you wish to achieve?
What lure type, weight, line class, drag - how much can you tolerate?
What action are you looking for?
Where do you wish to use it?

Hi Luke,
FYI I already have CV79/40 for my swimbait rod. Now I'm looking rod for chugger around 125-150gr, pe8-10, 12kg drag for start. I'm 185cm tall height n 85kg weight. I do my fishing mostly around Eastern Indonesia, Thanks.
Cheers,
Jeff

i go with MH80H....currently is in the market plus enough power to use in Bali n Lombok. No experience for MH in Komodo, Alor or Raja Ampat.
WV80XH felt slightly stiffer with slightly larger diameter at buttjoint....plus very rare in the market.
juz my 2cents

I would go the MH80H based on the info you provided. The WV80H is a heavier rod than the MH80H and is designed to fish up to PE12.

Ok guys. My selection is between MH80H or GT79Reversal, what do you think??? Thanks.

Jeff

both rods would still suit based on the popper size you outlined. The MH80H is a bit stronger than the 79R. Comes down to what you want.
