Gents
Would a T Curve Gt Special handle these lures?
Rod has a Lure Wieght 100-250g.
Additional Information:
- Owner 10/0 Rings, Twin Owner SJ-41 13s on the middle, 9/0 Jobu on the rear.
- 130lb Braid, 200lb Leader.
Thanks Ben.

Hi Ben,
I struggle with the 200's on a GT special, but the 140's are just about my favourite lure. I think I might struggle with ebipop 200's on any rod!

;D ;D ;D Love a man that speaks the truth ;)

They are actually a very good big popper but are tiring to work. Their length and the way they sit in the water are the main reasons for this. You're making it marginally harder still running a Jobu!
It is preferable to have a strong popper rod for this lure. Big GTs have a bad habit of snapping them at the neck but what the hell, if it raises a big fish and you hook it, it's worth it!

Brandon - what do you recommend instead of the Jobu?

Sorry Ben a little off topic,
But has anyone tried reverse rigging an Ebipop? Might try it out and see how it goes.... ???
-
Tried it already - it isn't great

Me too,
not a lot happens....

I have heard that reverse rigging a FCL Squid Pen works well.

If you reverse a squid pen, it dives a little more and still swims
