G'day guys just wondering if anyone could tell me approximately how much a built GF700H weighs?
Jay

490 grms all made up

Thanks Greg :D
-
Mine's 550 grams.
-
Thanks Stephen that sounds pretty heavy, how do you find casting all day with it??
-
Doesn't bother me at all.
I mean really, let's put things in perspective. A Stella 10000 weighs 890 grams. Plus line. Then add 550 grams for the rod. That's 1440 grams plus line. A stella 8000 on it will be 1230 grams. A light rod might be 100 grams less. Sure for some people every gram counts. In my view though, if 100 grams makes that much of a difference then you're going to be in real trouble when you start hanging a fish off the end!

Well said Stephen - hit the nail on the head ;)

:D if you're worry about the weight of the outfit....then I think you need to go to the gym often Jay.....go grab a couple of 5yr old kids and use them as weights. ;D

Hi guys ,
I am not exactly young anymore so for me every ounce less , the better it is . I still prefer Stella 16000F over SW10000HG due to weight difference .
Jon .

Too right Honsu, but have you seen the cost of Gym memberships these days!! especially in Karratha haha... besides, I'd rather be spending my money on bling GT tackle ;D
