Offer the ST-76 in Barbless version?
Barbless is offered in ST-66 would not have thought it would be a biggy to offer in 76

As pinching down the barbs is so easy, maybe Owner doubt there is really a serious market for them.  I have never even seen the ST66 barbless in shop.

Hi All,

As I agree with Mark (crunching or trimming is ease too)... The next question could be: will owner (in the near future) lauch a ST 76 in 6/0 and 7/0 sizes?

Cheers,

Marcio

Now there's a question from Marcio :).

I guess Owner have never ever made a treble of any type bigger than their 5/0 size?  Do others think there is a need for it?

While I do occasionally whack on a large GT recorder for example, does GT fishing really need a treble hook bigger than an owner ST66 or ST76 5/0?

I think ST-76 5/0 is big enough. It is a pretty big hook.

I take it you haven't fished New Cal, Chris?

Start fishing 220g+ lures and you'll see the need for bigger trebles. My new favorite is the Shogun Extreme, good value for money.

I run ST-66 and ST-76s on some huge lures

Me too. I use both ST66 and ST76 5/0 on things like Ebipop 200, PD Masterd Bomb 205, GT3 190 etc.

Same, just didn't feel confident that I had adequate hook exposure. Rudy cursed me when I used ST76 5/0's on a 230g Bigfoot (which isn't big for a 230g lure due to it's moulded construction)!

Guys,

Yes Jay. For New Cal . Big Lures require big trebles.

I agree with Rudy (from LPB). He says for the huge lures, nothing better tha a Decoy GT Special 10/0.

This is my favorite treble for really big lures...

Cheers,

Shogun extreme hooks are certainly up here in size stakes. Has anyone had one bend or fail?

ST-76 5/0 - How big are they compared to the Owner 5/0 that comes standard on the River2Sea Dumbells?
