Title: World record weight of Gt
Post by: Lee Margrave on December 01, 2011, 03:10:46 PM
Couldn't find the answer to the question, which is what is the world record weight of GT.  I looked in the IFGA and didn't see any entry in this species. Just curious to know.......

It's there on the IGFA website Lee:

http://www.igfa.org/records/Fish-Records.aspx?LC=ATR&Fish=Trevally,%20giant (http://www.igfa.org/records/Fish-Records.aspx?LC=ATR&Fish=Trevally,%20giant)

As is to be expected from IGFA, the write-up on the species is truly terrible.

Lee ,

If not mistaken , Fukui Kenzaburo is the holder of 4 IGFA Line Class records for GT . Luke should know more about this as he has fished with Fukui-san several time .
