Title: Your must have lures for 2012?
Post by: Jay Burgess on January 17, 2012, 07:01:27 PM
Was going through my lure collection in anticipation for my next trip, trying to decide what I should choose to take... whittling your lures down to around 20 to take on a trip is usually a difficult task  ;D It got me thinking that I haven't bought any new lures for a considerable amount of time... gammas were restocked after New Caledonia losses, Sea Frog collection looks quite good, got more of the usual craftbaits and whatnot that you can poke a stick at. Needless to say the bank account looks quite healthy at the moment.. although I try telling myself this isn't an excuse to go on a spending spree! So I'm putting it out there, what are your must have lures for 2012? if there's any good suggestions and I don't currently have in my collection, I may need to buy  8)

The Angel Tackle Floating stick bait. Its called the Roso and its 120g & 23cm.
Its been a proven winner on the GT`s in Fiji and New Caledonia. And very successful on the YellowTail Kingfish in New Zealand.

Jay it wont look out of place in your lure collection.

Cheers Rob

Halco Haymaker or Halco Roster?

The "Haymaker" is a Roosta, its just the name of the largest version. But it must be the Yellowfin color!
