Post by: Doug Terry on January 21, 2012, 08:50:58 PM
Hi Guys: First many thanks to all of you that gave me advice on choosing a reel for my first trip after GT's.  Got a New Shimano sw twinpower 1200hd compleat with braid for 445aud$, here in the UK.
Have just bought some Williams 7" jet poppers going to change the ironmongery on them what would you recommend regarding size of split ring and hook should I use st66 4/0 or 5/0.
What is the latest views on them.

Doug, you can get away with either the 4/0 or 5/0 ST-66s. For split rings, look at around size 10 Owners.
