Hi guys got a ripple fisher LC82 been told it can handle sticks but feels really stiff in the tip, has any one got this rod or used one that could shed some light how it handles an what size sticks the rod can work
Cheers guys an thanks for all the past info it's been out standing

Hi Byron
I really wouldn't describe the 82LC as having a particularly stiff tip at all. It is margnally firmer than the Ultimos but as a GT rod, it's quite useable for surface stickbaits. I would be qite happy casting even 170g stickbaits with it although I think its sweetspot is about 140g.

Thanks Brandon massive help it's u can see I'm a novice lol I been stoking up on sticks in the 150-170 range now I just need to track down a few 120-140g in 4 days this is going to be fun

I would wholeheartedly agree with Brandon.
GT82LC is one of my very favourite rods and it goes everywhere with me. Whilst not a specialist stickbait rod it does very nicely on that front. I have not used it for very heavy sticks but it works the 120 to 160 gram range nicely.

What will be the suitable size poppers for this rod?
Will it work 150gm chuggers well?
