Title: Prosele lures
Post by: Mark Harris on February 01, 2012, 05:11:22 PM
I have seen Prosele Tohmath poppers cropping up on a few sites.

Any members with experience of these?  Particularly keen to know about the quality of finishing and wiring. They seem to be priced a touch higher than equivalent Craftbaits for example and before buying any, I am keen to know if the finishing matches that level of quality.

Gee thanks guys  ::) . My new role as the GTPopping lure investigator  :o.

So, I am guessing nobody has ever bought a Prosele lure?

I think the finish very good, well at least it looks good. I used a stickbait in Tokara and found it was relatively durable, however, after some teeth marks and consistant treble rash - the foil started to peel. I've also had this happen with CraftBait, though, on foil finished stickbaits.

As for the poppers, they do look great and I'm waiting for the shop to receive stock before I can give you a proper appraisal.

Luke, that's really good feedback and thanks.

I have also had extremely expensive foiled (and holographic taped) lures peel.

It will be good to hear about the Prosele Tohmath poppers when they arrive.

Are you getting Prosele stickbaits as well Luke? Never even seen pictures of those!

There's pics of the Prosele stickbaits on the Saltywater website, Mark.

Thanks for that Sami.  From those pics, the lure sort of recalls a Realbait.

Reviving an old thread....

As these have now been around for while, any feedback from users on the Prosele Tohmath poppers?

they look really similiar to the craftbaits, except for the rings finishing....
