Every summer I go somewhere in the world and do a new fishing trip. I fished the north and south of New Caledonia. Also the Rev. Islands off of Mexico. This year I want to go for some Big Dogtooth. I can only go from the middle of June until the beginning of Sept. I've heard people mention the chesterfields but it seems tough to get there. Any help would be great. I don't care how remote or the price, I just want a once in a lifetime fishing experience. Thanks

Hey Jared,
Research Vanuatu mate. Havent been there but have heard the doggies are nuts.
Google it and you will find a few operators there.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Jared,
All good suggestions & great destinations above.
Hope to have a Vanuatu dogtooth trip report for you from the anglers lodge next month, our skipper has been getting them on poppers and jigs.
Being volcanic and full of steep islands, seamounts and deep reefs, Vanuatu is a great dogtooth destination.
I'm particularly excited about a new live on board / mothership option running to the central islands of Vanuatu. Will require a private charter flight in, it's remote and basic - but the fishing is untapped. Fingers crossed for when that happens also (from mid year), as it's a pretty Jurassic area.
Cheers David

I love the fact that the "once in a life time fishing trip" happens on an annual basis. A man after my own heart Jared.

Thanks for all of the help guys. The "once in a lifetime every year" is because you are never promised tomorrow. Also the jigging and popping is not for an old man. I have heard about Vanuatu, but I have also heard that fishing there can be very slow.
Does anyone have contacts in Papua New Guinea for a trip there???
Whats a good time of year for the Seychelles???
