Hi Folks

New member here.  I am fortunate to live in Oman but have only fished Musandam once and have not been to Hallinyat's yet...but am working on it.  After reading Nick Bowles' post I am scrapping my plan to get a 18000 Stella and instead will buy another 10000.  Any opinions on which 16000 spool is better the Studio Ocean Mark or the Jigging Master???

Also if anybody is interested in sharing a charter in Musandam or Southern Oman please let me know...I'm here.

You can buy either with confidence based on my experience

I have used both. My personal preference is the JM one as it has the tapering spool lip that is similar to the original spool lip on the stock Stella spools. In my mind, I cast much further with that. :-D

Drag performance doesn't seem to be any different between the two.
