I have the Tokara already, is there any benefit to getting the 78PF or can the Tokara duplicate more or less all of its functionality?
-
Is there a reason why you are comparing it specifically to a 78PF?

I have opportunity to add the PF specifically to the quiver at a decent price, but don't want to buy something I absolutely don't need. I have Tokara, Souls PE12, and JM GT Monster which already all overlap somewhat. I have a tackle addiction problem like many and am eager to get my first RF, just trying to find an excuse :)

There is a reasonable level of similarity purpose-wise between the rods. the Tokara has a slightly slower action that then PF. On the other hand, if you have a tackle addiction you need to feed, I am sure you can justify it!

I like fighting fish on the Tokara but the Ripple's quite a bit lighter and easier to use all day, also a great fish fighter and IMO a very under-rated rod. They seem to loose out in popularity to RF79R but I grabbed the PF over the 2 .
If you can get one for a bargain price I'd snavell it.

Agreed with darren! U always Better to have a backup.

Gary if you dont mind me asking, how much is a bargain price? I may be able to get it cheaper for you.
Just PM me if you dont want to post it.
