Just got back from Exmouth and had planned this trip starting with Eddy on Peak sportfishing and then out on our own with hire boats from Exmouth boat hire.
Leading up to the dates the weather was beauftiful but unfortunately for us that all changed when we got there, we left on the Thursday and the weather went back to beautiful forecasting wind being around 5knots with swell 0.7-0.8m today, just my luck :(
Our hire Boats were unproductive with one of them going to waste as we didn't even bother to launch.
We did however get lucky on the day of the charter and got at least one great day of fishing, boy do those GT pull hard!
Anyways here are some pics of the trip.
First GT ever on a plastic :P

Nice work Jason!

I was there in late March/April. Fantastic fishing....alas no GTs but did put a couple of Sailfish alongside the boat.
I think your 'Marlin' may be a Short Billed Spearfish. If so, well done ! It's a good size one and much rarer

Wicked little black mate, bring out the lite gear..
Trev definetley a little black,we have caught many little black and larger marlin to 100kg with Stumpy bills like the one in the photo above....
