Has anyone put these rods to the test
http://www.anglermate.com.au/pro/TAIRYO_RODS/2011/1203/38.html
I have a light one for plastics and snapper and am happy
But to be honest snapper aint in the same league as GT's Tuna etc.

LOL.
And beware of any product using the word "nano" in a meaningless context.

The rods retail for under $300 and for that price I think they are very reasonable. I haven't fished one but have put a bend in one in a shop and I think for someone startin out they could be ideal. More suited to poppers as even the lighter of the models has quite a firm tip. The nano refers to the blank material.

Nano-carbon technology came out a number of years ago but we've now started seeing it rolling out in the fishing industry. It isn't proving to be that popular yet because it's quite heavy but apparently, the rods made from it are awesomely strong.
