Title: Saltiga game 3500 knob

Hey guys,

I have just aquired a second hand Saltiga 3500 game reel and I have noticed that the knob bushing are fairly worn and it moves around a fair bit.

I have decided that I will buy a slightly larger knob to replace the original one but I can't seem to find a listing on aftermarket handles for the 3500 size. The jigging master and even the RCS knobs are only listed for the 4000 size and upwards.

Is anyone aware of a knob that I can use for this reel? Can the knobs that suit the Daiwa Caldia be retrofitted?

A mate had a 40mm Ultimate Jigging knob on his Game. Was ok from memory. Possibly had a bit of movement but not 100% sure. I think there is a smaller one then the 40mm but not sure if it fits on the Game.

Had a quick look on the net but couldn't find any other makes.

I have owned a couple of Saltiga Game reels. The silver and blue aluminum knob is for the previous model Saltiga 4000, 4500 / 6000, 6500 reels. It won't fit the Game. The silver and black model is the correct size. You can also choose the RCS EVA large size for your reel.  :)

I actually ordered a jigging master 30mm knob and am waiting for it to arrive to try to fit it. Will let you know once I do.

It should fit. I have seen ppl fixing the JM knobs on a Saltiga Game before........  But the JM blue is too light and doesn't match the reel well.  ;)

Ryan, I run the RCS EVA on mine, its great...really light too!
