Title: Drag setting
Post by: Andrew Poulos on March 07, 2008, 07:14:18 PM
My new toy courtesy of Plat came through not long ago so had a play last night. Didnt get too much time but initial readings for the Monster mesh rod and the dogfighter were around 9kgs (until I had to move as other tenants were driving up  the driveway). Last reading was at about 7kg's before I called it quits. Will run it again on the other rod and this one again to see what the most comfortable level is.  Drag feels a bit jerky but have some drag washers to swap out soon. Hard to tell on these high end reels what the drag levels are set at compared to other reels but this will help a bit.

Cheers Brandon.

Neat little gadget. Im interested to see what some of my other reels like the torium 30 that used to be my main outfit pulls.
