Title: Which Reel?
Post by: Lou arellano on November 15, 2012, 07:49:07 PM
Hi all

Just purchased a Temple reef BD100...I am looking at buying a new reel to match it....

I am leaning towards the Stella 10000sw...

Cheers

Lou

Hi
You have to think in which line you are going to use, and if you can get enough line on the reel. Otherwise you have to invest in a 16000 spool fx jiggingmaster or SOM.
If you choose this solution you will end up with a reel that is more expensive than a 18000 SW, but a bit more light

Simon

Looking at PE5-6..

Mainly chasing kingies off the rocks ...

At the moment I have a twinpower 8000sw with PE4

Then it should be fine. I think it will take around 250 m PE6
