Title: Wind on leaders
Post by: Andrew Poulos on May 12, 2008, 07:13:44 AM
Hi all,

Just wondering, has anyone used wind on leaders to cast with  ?

I usually use twisted leaders and can now do the PR knot, but in case Im stuck without any of these on the rocks, how do wind ons go in up to 100lb. The finish is similar to a PR knot, though longer than I do mine so curious as to they cast ok from a threadline spool.

cheers

I've seen a few people using them and having them catching quite regularly. You're better off having a few spare twisted leaders in your kit.
