Nothing huge but it's a start. Finally got onto a couple of not so Giant Trevally in my local after 6 sessions of only Spanish, Tuna and Kings. The biggest was around 10kg and although small I'm pretty stoked to have finally had some action.
Nomad Bugatti Special 130 took all 3 of my fish and I couldn't even tell you what Pete was using!

Congratulations,
Nothing wrong with those fish.

Any session with a few GT's landed is a good session. Nice pic's.
-
Solid catches! A lot better than nothing if you ask me. Now if only I can break this dry spell. :-\
-
It's a great start! Never seen a bad GT
-
I cannot agree more with Brandon. Every GT is a good one! Well done Troy.
If anyone has the impression that catching a monster GT is an everyday occurrence then they are sadly deluded. You could go a lifetime of fishing and not achieve that.
-
Well done on the GT's. Your by-catch fish aren't to bad either. Leigh

Seen a few bad hats though!

Well done Troy, it must be good to tick of the GT wish list finally...........I'm still in the dreaming stage of getting amongst them one day myself and boy I think it is still a long way off :'(.
The bigger ones will definitely come by with the more effort you put in.
By the way what model Temple Reef rod were you using?
Best of luck.
Cheers,
Ian

Thanks guys! This wasn't my first G.T., but it was my first one from local waters which will give me a bit more confidence to sus out my home waters a little more. I have only caught them north of here otherwise.
The Temple Reef is a GT-78. Brutal rod and a nice upgrade from my old Demon Blood.

Love the hat! Nice work 8)

Mine? Don't knock it till you've tried it! It's like wearing your bed fishing. Good for those cold early starts!
