Title: Dampier Spring fish
Post by: Jason Haack on October 14, 2013, 09:31:31 PM
Hi All,

New to the GT scene, only been at it since August and becoming more addicted by the day, few photos from the last couple of weeks below.
Yesterdays session saw some quality fish around but took a while to find them. Once we found the bait the fish weren't too far behind with West Coast Delambre 120's and ASWB SS stick baits doing most of the damage.
Exploring the archipelago has been paying off with some good sized local fish. Been told there is bigger fish on offer just need to put in the time.
Hoping to break the 30kg mark soon, then onto 40 and 50 if I can.
Fish attached went 94, 100, 104, 108.

Cheers

Jason.

Nicely done, Jason. Great to see a report from the Dampier region - I'm going to head over there next year and take a look around. Keep up the good work!
