Just a couple of pics from trip to Malabou In New Caledonia with David and Rudi from bannane. awesome trip recommend you do this once before you give up fishing.The GT was over 50kg and the wrasse was over 30kg both caught on popper.

Yeah mate the fishing was awesome for big fish.Definitely a place for 130lb braid and big poppers.

Hi Fred,
certainly some great specimens there. Were you the group that hooked a big YFT only to be sharked big time?

Yes we did hook a big yellowfin over 60kg the angler nearly got spooled on the first run but the hooks pulled not sharked.
