Title: Leader sleeve - Zylon or Dyneema size?
Post by: Ellis Sim on March 03, 2014, 04:39:11 PM
I am trying to learn how to make leaders with nylon shock leader with assist cord as sleeve.  Any reference what size or lb rating of hollow assist cord is suitable for 150 200, 300lb etc nylon leaders of standard diameter?   Which one is more abrasive resistant?  Dyneema or Zylon? Thanks

Kevlar is the most common solution I think Eliis.

Try a forum search from the homepage for "kevlar sleeve" and you will find the old threads.
