I'm looking to come to Australia in 2015. where and when is the best time to fish for Gt's in Queesland as I would like to visit the Great Barrier Reef during my stay.

Queensland is a big state! You could fish for GTs from most ports, however, there aren't a huge deal of operators.

You could start at Mackay and work your way up to Cairns & Port Douglas.
