My record for sails on sticks is 2-2-1 but not in Exmouth. Both fish nailed a Shimano Orca in a green sardine pattern rigged with two Owner SJ41 7/0's.
I'm changing most of my bluewater stickbaits to a single Decoy Cutlass 9/0 on the tail only and the hookup rate on all types of fish seems to be better.

Yeh sik are you using assist cord ? Or just standard split to rigid up with?

Just split rings, but the experts would recommend assists.
