Have been doign a lot of inshore stickbaiting on pe3 and 4 gear recently. The ground is very unforgiving, reef studded flats less than a meter deep but a whole heap of fun. Very challenging landing GT's in this water but definately do able. Schools of GT's tend to congregate inshore this time of year in the north west, other species include torut, goldens and a heap of other bits and pieces.
Gear used is a samurai reaction 25-40lb stick, stella 5000 SW and the new HalcoC-Gars

Epic as ever Belly... gotta say I am always so jealous of your fishing and lifestyle whenever I see your pics..
Love it mate, brilliant light tackle angling and superb images.... ! Keep it coming!

Was great fun on the weekend, my biggest GT on PE3 to date estimated around 23-25kg and gave the yamaga blue sniper a real workout.
Dampier has so many light tackle options.
