Looks very nice, link to the gallery here:

Maybe a reason to hold off on getting one of the new expeditions....

Maybe Khai,

Could they possibly be better than the EXPEDITIONS ???
Its reasonable to expect they will be as good as the Expeditions with sealed bearings etc.
Take a look at Alan Hawks web site and see what he says about the Expeditions :)
My Expedition 5500H is the nicest Saltiga l own. Smooth as silk etc.

Cheers Ross

Interesting to see that Daiwa Australia has listed two new Dogfight models, an 8000 @ 4.3:1 ratio and a 8000H @ 5.6:1 ratio, taking the range to 11 models in total from 3500 up to 8000.

So where does this leave the Expedition 8000H in the mix?

Cheers,

Ian

hey guys,
The expedition will remain as daiwa's flagship reel and the new saltiga will just be replacing the older 2010.

Looks like you're right Nathan. They're listed for about $120 cheaper than the expedition on digitaka...
