Title: Dogfight Capacity
Post by: Jay Burgess on July 24, 2008, 02:20:26 PM
Currently I am using a Stella 10000FA with PE8 YGK on a Carpenter SP78H as my my go to combo for PE8.

I am looking to get a second combo for PE10 to use at Shoalwater and ground that is particularly ugly with numbers of good fish.

I am tossing up between the 08 SW18000HG and the Saltiga Dogfight paired up with one of the heavier Ripple Fisher rods. What are the line capacities of both these reels with PE10 Varivas?

IIRC i got 230mtrs of pe10 Varivas on a 6500 spool.

More than enough for GT fishing.

Cheers
