heres the small black I got on a smith cbm155 and varivas big one pe 3. Caught off the montebello islands on board a very good friend on mine's boat Blue Lightning charters.

Theres alot of keen Jiggers (myself included) in NZ who are trying to do that to a 100kg stripy this year...  That will be good to see!

thats an awesome capture and I know him as well. Infact... he was so proud, he left the whole rig, jig and hooks attached and left in the shop for all to see. Dunno about reusing the leader for sambos....
