Title: Casting/Jigging & General Fish Handling Gloves

First of all, do they really make a difference?? I've never used them before but am interested.
What are my options when considering gloves for all round purpose?? What is everyone else using?

I use a few brands which i find very good but tend to use Fisherman these days. The Smith ones are good too and I like the Shout ones in summer.

heavy braid can do terrible things to bare hands - that'e enough of a disadvantage on its own to warrant gloves

Post by: Colin P on November 28, 2008, 10:07:21 PM: I use Fisherman gloves - strong but well ventilated. I had to import them from USA (current cost USD57). Have not found any disadvantages when popping or jigging and would hate to try either without gloves!
