Title: Popping Gloves
Post by: Joey Falconi on December 03, 2008, 02:52:41 PM
What's the deal with a decent pair of popping gloves. I have a pair of Owner fingerless gloves but want a pair for throwing poppers.

What do you guys use and recommended. What kind of $$$ do you have to spend ?

Thanks

If you're on the cheap, just get a pair of Fox mountain biking gloves. They do a set that are nice and  light without all the padding and they work fine, handle getting wet etc

you could get a pair Owner gloves for $89,there for popping/jigging and run rite to the tips of your figers otherwise there are other brands you can get on the net and pay a fortune..Fisherman gloves are about $130 at the moment...Most tackle shop should have the Owner gloves!!

I believe that our sponsor, Fishhead, carries Smith gloves for $79 (I think).
Smith gloves are excellent - I use them myself (although I will not deny I like Fisherman gloves a bit more but these are hardly $79!!   ;D )
I think it would be hard to find a better glove for the price locally
