Spot on David. It's very sobering.

And here we are going to such lengths to C&R a relatively very common species like a GT.  I doubt that more than a few would though give a 2nd thought to eating tuna.

Thank goodness for the sake of the GT, they're not much chop on the plate! 

And there is at least a few Tuna still left, to keep those sidetracked that might otherwise......... start experimenting with a few different recipes!

Yes I'm not a big consumer of bought fish, restaurant sashimi etc. Prefer to work for my fish and choose what I eat.
Then again it amazes me that this can sell wholesale for almost $3/4 million.

They need to cap it! high prices are are tell tale sign of how bad the numbers are, its such a  shame we could loose such an amazing creature to the name of profit.

The comment by the 22 year old, is a totally narrow minded view essentially live for today who cares about tomorrow, we won't even be here....
