Great video Brandon, hopefully this will inspire a few more of us to persist with surface stickbaits. Not as difficult as it first appears,  the bit of slack line and the timing being the key, and also knowing what conditions / circumstances  to use them in - not on a fast drift for example.

It’s a Blue Lagoon 80/43. Not ideal but it did the job. A Blue Lagoon 80/35 or 711/35 or 80/30 would have been ideal
If it swims; I want to catch it!

Hi Brandon,

Thank you for the rod used. I've got a TBL 80/40, BLC 80/40R-PM Super Cobra & EP 85/36...these all should do the job nicely with Gamma's 120g to 160g no worries respectively.
