Thanks for the advice - probably confirmed my thinking that 15lb might be too light - will respool with 20lb . don't like taking a knife to a gunfight but will see what happens!. Off tomorrow.

You'll probably find even PE2 is too light for most situations. Personally I'd got with PE3-4.

I've given up on PE2 these days myself. Start at PE3 and go up from there
