If you live in Brisbane and require supplies for your popping or jigging expeditions ( or collection ), I can recommend you visit the Nomad Sportfishing office in Northgate. I dropped by there today and they have an excellent range of high-end gear on display now. They are encouraging people to drop in and check it out. If you are considering a Nomad trip, it would be well worth a visit to check out the level of professionalism you will recieve on board. Personally, I have done 2 trips with them, and cant speak highly enough of their operation. The words "trip of a lifetime" get bandied around alot these days, but with Nomad, its no understatement.
The only downside to all this is it is very difficult to leave without denting the credit card. Chatting to Glanny about the Elusive Reef mayhem, tends to free up the spending juices...
