At the 2006 Brisbane Boat Show a group of us including the Shimano rep and a local fishing tackle identity were comparing the Twinpower and the Sustain 6000s, consensus was the only noticeable difference was that Twinpowers were smoother, but I think Sustains may have now taken a step forward with the Paladin gears for durability if you want a tough reel, or the new Stradic 8000 which has most of the Sustain upgrades for under $300.

Yep, another reel to add to the potential list I guess then. Anyway, no rush as my wedding is sucking the money out of me at the moment so it will have to wait till after the honeymoon .
