We have been organizing trips for our Japanese friends and suppliers for the past 2 years and have since received many enquiries regarding to fishing for Blue Fin Tuna in North Carolina.

What is included?Transfer from JFK airport to Saltywater Tackle
5 days accommodation in North Carolina
Transport from New York to North Carolina and back (9 hrs one way)
Daily transfer from hotel to marina

Fishing tackle *Rod, Reel and line, customers are encouraged to bring their own tackle for maximum satisfaction!
Fishing license
*Race Point or MC Works Rods, Shimano Stella 20000SW or 18000SW reels, Sunline or Varivas PE lines. Customers will be responsible for tackle used.
FAQsWill it be cold during that time of the year and how cold?Yes, please bring winter wear and foul weather gear. Land temperature will be 0 to 5 degree Celsius, offshore temperature will be warmer as we will be fishing in the Gulf Stream 10 to 15 degree Celsius.
What size blue fin tuna are we expecting? How many?100lbs to over 300lbs. You can expect up to 10 hookups a day.
Jigging or Popping?Both, if the fish are not biting on top, we will jig for them and vice versa if they are spotted on top.
What are the recommended tackles?What type of boat are we fishing in? Live onboard?What about meals? Can I cook?Anglers are responsible for their own meals, there is a couple of restaurants near the marina.
Yes, you can cook, there is a kitchen and we can get groceries from shops near the marina.
What if the weather turns bad?Weather is very unpredictable in North Carolina whilst we make every effort to ensure our clients safety, the captain will make the final decision if it is safe to fish.
Refunds will be given to non fishable day or days.
What should I bring?Items that are helpful, rain gear, sun screen, sun glasses and the most important your CAMERA for that dream shot!
